SEAPCP or the South East Asia Popular Communications Programme has initiated a "quick action" response to the disaster in Acheh by collaborating with Pusat KOMAS of Malaysia to organize Emergency Relief Mission (ERM) into Aceh, Indonesia. Although this is a regional effort, SEAPCP has deisgnated KOMAS to be the lead agency to organize these missions because of the languge similarities between the two countries.
